Focus on Regional Health Bureaus and Zonal Health Departments
To ensure the project's work directly addressed the needs of RHBs and ZHDs, L10K 2020 conducted a series of consultation, brainstorming, and training sessions with FMOH, RHB, and ZHD leadership and technical teams using human-centered design (HCD). HCD is a problem-solving approach that centers on understanding the perspectives of the people experiencing the problem in order to develop solutions. Through this process, the leadership and technical teams identified health system challenges and barriers and then designed context-based solutions to help achieve Ethiopia's Health Sector Transformation Plan.
