Grants Support
During a co-designing process with the RHBs, L10K 2020 identified grant support as a strategy to strengthen the health system. In addition to providing funding, the grant support intervention builds the capacity of RHBs and ZHDs in grant and proposal writing and resource mobilization.
L10K 2020 released a call for proposals, and RHBs submitted grant proposals based on problems identified through the RHB-focused system support design process. Once grants are awarded, L10K 2020 monitors implementation and financial management through on-site supervision and review of summary progress reports or trip reports and supportive documents (checklists, training manuals/guidelines, etc.).
