Learning Approach
Measurement and evaluation activities are critical for L10K 2020 to influence community health systems and the primary health care strategy in Ethiopia and to provide evidence for supporting global RMNCH policies. L10K 2020 works with the FMOH and RHBs to foster a culture of data collection, analysis, and use for decision making. Publications, tools, and other resources based on L10K 2020's implementation data can be found on the L10K Resources page.
L10K 2020 uses a structured process to learn from and document experiences and lessons learned from its activities to build the capacity of RHBs and ZHDs to contextualize and implement the HSTP agendas. L10K 2020 uses performance reports and activities, qualitative studies, and data gathered from the joint RHB/L10K 2020 monitoring and evaluation framework to make informed decisions, adjust activities, and document which activities did or did not achieve the expected outcomes. Through joint monitoring visits and semi-structured tools, L10K 2020 monitors and documents the progress of activities.
